So, have you been watching The Sarah Jane Adventures. But I remember being so upset when Sarah Jane left Doctor Who back in 1976, so I loved School Reunion nd think this series is just great.
I have definitely been watching The Sarah Jane Adventures. My favourite of the SJA series was Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane?, although I felt that the series had much more of a feel of Torchwood than Doctor Who, but that’s not a complaint. I thought they obviously had a lower budget than Doctor Who, meaning they had to rely less on effects and more on script, but that worked in their favour, and I loved the fact they acknolwedged that Doctor Who (adult) fans would be watching as well as just the usual CBBC audience, so the little nods to its history were nice to see. I think it’s been fantastic, harking back to the great era of 1980’s childrens television drama series, almost like RTD going back to his roots (I remember the excellent, creepy Century Falls).
I didn’t see any Dark Season and remember not being overly impressed by the first episode of Century Falls so I didn’t see the rest. RTD didn’t really cross my radar until The Grand which I loved with a passion.
